Nowadays, Drone technology have reached a wider usage in various areas and industries, including for aquatic related areas especially shallow, tight or even dangerous locations.
USV (Unmanned Surface Vessel) or some refer to as bathymetric drone are replacing boat based bathymetric survey due to cost and mobility.
Bathymetry using USV on water entities is effective and efficient to map depth and contour, including water volume and sediment.
Once the water base contour is determined, it then will be much easier and accurate for further processing such as constructions, drainage planning, water way access planning and many more.
